Description
July 25th-August 4th 2024: Brown Environmental Leadership Lab at Eastern Sierra, California
In this summer program, we stayed at Snarl(the science research lab of UCSB) and went to field trips to the Yosemite national park, the Mono Lake, Mammoths Mountain and Convict lake for geological surveying. (We identified the rock types and made hypothesis of the formation of local geological features such as Tafu and Devil's Postpille.) We also visited local museums and identified the animal species according to their teeth size, skull shape and characterized them into Herbivore, Omnivore and Carnivore.

Sailing as part of the crew member, I spent a whole 10 days on the ocean with no internet and no wifi-connection. Being a sailor is a harsh while rewarding experience for me.

Smiths Pre-College: Science and Engineering Program, "Water Matters" Course
July 24th-August 5th 2023 Smiths College's Science and Engineering: Water matters
In this Smiths college summer program, I learned college-level course of Environmental science that enriched my knowledge base in this field through professor-taught courses, practical experiment, outcome presentation and the opportunity to communicate with people who share same academic interests in environmental studies.
